Who we are
CakeNight was developed and created in 2017 by Teresa’s Custom Cakes (2007). We are located in Sherwood Park, Alberta and we are willing to make efforts to have a CakeNight in most locations in Alberta. CakeNight is a unique experience where we have instructors guide participants to create a replica of the current predesigned chosen themed cake.

What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It
We collect your personal information when you register for one of our events. The information collected is for the requirement of processing of your payment.
We do not share this information with anyone other than your payment provider who has your personal data already. Records of purchases are kept for 7 years which are for taxation purposes.
The personal information you provide CakeNight or Teresa’s Custom Cakes will allow us to fulfill your order requests, alert you of issues, and respond to any Customer Service concerns.
Lastly we may use your personal information for internal measurement of our performance. These measurements are intended to increase our customer satisfaction and will not be shared externally.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

We keep information provided for customer service purposes for a maximum of 7 years after the last order date, but we do not use the information submitted for marketing purposes.

Who we share your data with

We use WIX to process your orders and to run this site. Payment providers are your choice at checkout and it is a requirement to fulfill your orders which is the normal process of purchasing anything.
How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
